Frequently asked questions
Is ThaiHomeRB free for people looking for a home?
Yes. Browsing homes and sending enquiries to owners and agents is free. To send an enquiry you need a free account with a confirmed email address.
Which areas does ThaiHomeRB cover?
ThaiHomeRB lists homes for rent and sale in Bangkok, Samut Prakan and Pattaya. Repair and property-management service ads can also cover all of Thailand.
How do I contact the owner or agent of a listing?
Open the listing, choose “Contact”, sign in and send an enquiry. It is saved in the publisher’s ThaiHomeRB inbox and we also try to alert them by email. Some listings also show LINE, WhatsApp or WeChat details.
Are listings checked before they are published?
Yes. Every listing and service ad is reviewed by ThaiHomeRB before it becomes public. Review is not an inspection: always confirm the price, availability and contract terms with the publisher and view the home before paying any deposit.
How do I list a home for rent or sale?
Create an account, choose “List a property”, add the details and photos, and submit it for review. The listing becomes public only after approval.
How much does it cost to list a property?
Standard property listings and service ads are free from 29 September to 28 December 2026 (Thailand time). After that, an individual owner pays ฿300 per listing for 30 days; agent accounts use the agency plan, ฿5,000 for 30 days for up to 100 listings. Optional promotions are one-time payments: a 7-day boost is ฿299 and a 7-day homepage feature is ฿1,499. There are no automatic charges.
Can agents import listings from their own website?
Yes. Agent accounts can connect one Proppit-style XML feed, preview it, tick the homes they want and import up to 50 homes per account. Each imported home is reviewed before publication, and the feed URL can be disconnected and changed later.
Are listings translated into Thai and Chinese automatically?
No. Publishers can add their own Thai or Chinese text. Where no translation is available, the original listing text is shown.
Can I get a refund for a promotion?
Yes, you get a full refund if the service you bought cannot be activated. Email support with your order reference; never send card numbers or passwords.
How do I report a misleading listing or photo?
Email support@thaihomerb.com with the listing link, what is wrong and how to reach you. We review every report and may ask the publisher to correct or remove the content.
Where can I find repair or property-management services?
Browse reviewed service ads on the Repair & management page. ThaiHomeRB does not verify licences, workmanship or prices, so ask the provider for a written quote before paying.
Where can I learn about living costs and renting in Thailand?
Our Community & guides section covers Bangkok living costs by income group, the housing market outlook and opening a Thai bank account.
